Pole and zero calculator

Image
This calculator can be used to determine the poles, zeros, and transfer function of a passive linear filter circuit (i.e. a filter consisting of only inductors, capacitors, and resistors). I will also describe how the calculator works. Calculator Paste in the text file of the circuit from https://www.falstad.com/afilter/circuitjs.html (go to File > Export as Text): $ 1 0.000005 5 50 5 46 % 4 24389.095776063856 170 464 112 432 112 3 10 150 5 0.5 l 464 112 528 112 0 0.05 0 r 528 112 592 112 0 1000 c 592 112 656 112 0 2.0000000000000002e-7 0 c 720 112 720 176 0 1e-8 0 l 656 112 656 176 0 0.5 0 w 720 112 656 112 0 w 656 176 720 176 0 g 720 176 720 192 0 O 720 112 752 112 0 o 0 128 0 34 5 0.00009765625 0 -1 Analyze Error while computing poles and zeros Frequency units: rad/s Hz Format: Rectangular Polar (radians) Polar (degrees) Decimal places: Pole Zero Transfer function: Term
